Your Needs

Our client, a multi-business bank with offices all over Europe, embarked in a new journey to transform the Bank with massive investments. The objective : enabling the Bank to play a leading role in its core markets.

This required designing a strategy with a new organization to support this transformation.

In this context, our client was looking to reinforce its team with key people, one of them being the “Chief Data Officer” (M/F). However, the level of seniority and the scope of experience of the hire was not yet defined and therefore the client wanted to start with a mapping of the market to get a better understanding of the talents available.

Our Solutions

To help our client get a more precise view of the ideal candidate, we mapped and sourced the market in order to get a good understanding of what functioned in competitive and other industries.

After this exercise, we came to the conclusion that we would need to look for a person with a thorough understanding of the banking sector and its technological and data-related future. Someone who could assist and had already implemented a similar technological transformation taking into account the IT legacy system of the company.

Another important search criteria that arose, was the geographical component as, we quickly understood that it would be difficult to attract candidates from abroad due to the knowledge of country specific legislation and language.

Taking into account the different criteria, we succeeded in presenting and on-boarding the successful candidate bringing the needed knowledge and know-how.
